For those wondering about the future of gaming, it is probably time to forget about sitting still and playing on your console or PC. The future will be about being mobile and having access to everything you need from anywhere you are.

It won’t be long until you can play your favourite game from any device, no matter where you are. The new Xbox Series X is set for release later this year, and Microsoft have told us that the xCloud will play a huge role in the way this console works.

XCloud & Xbox Series X to Work Together

We have had confirmation from Microsoft that the xCloud will play a vital role in Xbox Series X. Project xCloud is where Microsoft are throwing all of their focus right now, and this has been highlighted by the shutdown of Xbox One production and the fact that Xbox Live 12-month subscriptions have been taken off the store.

The new Microsoft Game Pass Ultimate is going to give you joint access to multiple Xbox games and the xCloud, making it a valuable tool. Quite which devices will be compatible with the xCloud is yet to be revealed, however we do know that Samsung are going to join forces and be a part of the action.

Samsung & XCloud to Join Forces

We have had reports that the first phone to be compatible with project xCloud has been confirmed. The Samsung Galaxy Note S20 Ultra 5G is apparently the phone, this will be compatible with the xCloud to open up a wide range of gaming to those who have the phone and access to xCloud.

There will be an estimated 90 games available for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, these are currently being developed. When released, the games will be available from the cloud for people to download to their smartphones.

This makes the Note S20 Ultra a portable gaming console for anyone who wants to play it. The phone has already launched too, coming out at the beginning of August 2020, so anyone wanting to get themselves ready for the gaming service can get the phone now.

We have seen mobile phones use technology to offer a variety of different things in the past. From playing casino games online to placing sports bets with bookmakers listed at newbettingsites.uk, many people use their phone for more than just calls and messages.

The new partnership between Samsung and Microsoft to turn the Note S20 into a portable gaming device is the next step forward for this. What you can guarantee is that Samsung and Microsoft won’t be doing this unchallenged. The likes of Sony and Apple will have seen the advancements made by them, and will be looking to match, or maybe even better in the near future.

This competition is only going to be good for consumers, who will likely see another big rise in phone capabilities over the next few years.
