Windows is by far the most popular operating system worldwide. Every new update and feature is aimed to make the life of the user easier. If you’re a student, you’ll be happy to hear that the Windows 10 system is highly praised by many of your peers. In fact, research shows tremendous benefits of using this system to study. Right now, you can use windows 10 to facilitate learning, as well as handle your assignments and projects with ease.

To get the best out of it, you’ll need to master it. It doesn’t take much. In fact, I’ve learned that there are five essential things that a student must know before they start using Windows 10 for academic purposes.

1.Word Has a ‘Smart Look Up’ Feature Now!

Researching for your papers has been time consuming and basically, a torture when you had to switch between browser tabs and files to find something. With the new system, you now have access to a brand new Word feature – the smart look up. With this feature, you don’t have to leave your work to open up tabs and search for data.

This has helped me finish many of my tasks much faster than before. Not to mention, when I hired Assignment Help to write my assignment (something that I often did back in college), it took me very little time to do my speedy fast-checking before I submitted the task. I might not have had the time to write the paper, but this tool helped me power through the essay rapidly and without any troubles.

2.You Can Remove Clutter Much Easier than Before

My absolute favorite feature is the option to tweak your Start Menu as you please. You can pin the things you need most frequently and unpin the things that you don’t need from the Start Menu. You won’t be removing them entirely – not at all. Basically, you’ll be prioritizing the things you need and putting aside the ones you don’t.

Clutter is one of your biggest enemies while at school. Unnecessary apps and documents can take away your focus and distract you, not to mention how relaxing it is when you have things arranged and organized before you start working on a task.

This goes beyond the sleek Start Menu look. The Windows 10 allows you to clean your desktop while keeping the work and tabs open. If you finish for the time being but don’t want to close the tabs, you can click on the ‘task view’ (it’s located on the right of your search bar). You’ll get the chance to open a new desktop and use it, while being able to get back to the previous one when you please.

3.Cortana is an Amazing Tool for Students

Would you like to have your own assistant? Well, the system allows you exactly that – to have someone help you when you research or need something. The sooner you learn how to use Cortana, the better. You can save quite a lot of time by using the search assistant. Not to mention, Cortana can be your personal reminder and keep you away from distractions. If you tell it to remind you about a task or a project, it will do that when you need it to. There’s no longer an excuse for forgetting deadlines, not with Cortana on your side.

4.Keep Your Tabs Open

One of the best tricks and hacks concerning students and this system is linked to the tabs. With Windows 10, you can keep all work tabs open without any delays or issues. This way, you won’t have to search for the same thing over and over again, or go through the history to find something that you’ve opened before.

5.Sticky Notes are a Brilliant Invention

Sticky Notes are a student’s best friend. Note-taking is a huge part of your academic life and such a tool can come really handy when you’re studying or working on your assignments. You can simply scribble down your ideas and thoughts, write down deadlines and tips, and keep them in your sight at all times. You can make many sticky notes and, thanks to their many color options, organize them as you please.

Conclusion

Windows 10 is an amazing resource for students, especially if you learn to use the many features it offers. For students, these are only five of the best things about this operating system. Once you learn them, move onto exploring the system and finding new things that will make your academic life easier.
